Kylie Minogue is set to perform at Sydney's Beresford Hotel on Wednesday night.
The pop star, who arrived in Australia this week to film the Nine Network reality show The Voice, took to Twitter earlier in the day seeking suggestions on where she could "party" - as her publicist Kylie Martin described it to AAP - in the harbour city.
Minogue tweeted: "Sydney!!! I feel like going #intotheblue tonight! Suggestions??"
Into The Blue is the lead track from Minogue's forthcoming album, Kiss Me Once.
About an hour later, the star tweeted: "It sounds like The Beresford is the place to be. Who's gonna join me for some fun? @ThePresets @Stereogamous @DJsveta? #KissMeOnceSydney."
Rebecca Gibbs, publicity manager for the Beresford, which is in inner-city Surry Hills, confirmed the performance.
"It's definitely happening tonight - upstairs at the Beresford - but the timing hasn't been confirmed," she said.
"As far as I know, Minogue will just be performing that one single (Into the Blue)."
