Miranda Kerr starts her day with a cuddle

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr says she likes to start her day with a cuddle from her son and end her busy daily schedule with some online shopping.

Australian model Miranda Kerr starts every day by cuddling her son.

Kerr has son Flynn with Orlando Bloom, who she split from in October last year after three years of marriage.

When asked to breakdown her daily routine the 30-year-old said special bonding time with her son was how she most liked to start the day.

"I wake up, cuddle my three-year-old son Flynn and tell him I love him," she told British magazine Grazia.

"I like to listen to classical music when I get ready. I hop in the shower, cleanse and moisturise."

Music features heavily throughout Kerr's day, and the former Victoria's Secret model especially likes to play some tunes when she's posing in front of the camera.

"On a shoot I like to listen to Animals by Martin Garrix, Pompeii by Bastille, and I also like Dr. Dre, Billie Holiday and Ed Sheeran. I make playlists all the time on iTunes," she said, proving her musical tastes are varied.

Kerr is also quite the film fan and likes to spend her evenings in front of a good movie when the chance arises.

"I'll catch a movie," she said.

"The last film I watched at the cinema was 12 Years a Slave. I thought it was amazing and very touching. It made me cry."

Before climbing into bed, the stunning model will indulge in a bit of retail therapy and logs on to various websites to get her daily fashion and beauty fix.

"After dinner I love browsing online. My two favourite sites are net-a-porter.com for clothes and intothegloss.com for beauty products," she said.

The star ends her day by reading a book, currently favouring My Promised Land by Ari Shavit, a political memoir about the state of Israel.
