A missed gate has cost Australia's Jessica Fox another gold medal at the canoe slalom World Cup.
The 22-year-old posted the best time of the K1 final in France and thought she had earned herself another gold, but was relegated to 10th place after a protest.
Fifty seconds was added to the Olympic silver medallist's time, after the missed gate protest was upheld.
Compatriot Lucien Delfour also had similar fate in the semi-finals of the men's K1, with a 50-second penalty for a missed gate ruling him out of the final.
Fox has had a strong World Cup campaign, taking home two silver medals in the K1, and a gold and silver in the C1 in the Italian, Spanish and French legs over the past month.
"There were a lot of silvers, which I'm really happy with," she said earlier in the week.
"It was a very solid World Cup campaign, it's been a good start to the season and something for me to build on."
She will now prepare to compete in the U23 World Championships next month, before heading to the Rio Olympics, alongside Delfour and Ian Borrows.
