Missing man's body found in north Qld bush

Police have found the body of a man reported missing on Friday in north Queensland and say there are no suspicious circumstances.

The body of a man reported missing in north Queensland has been found in bushland.

Edward Kerley, 34, was last seen by a family member at Shaw, near Townsville, about 1pm (AEST) on Friday.

His family had been unable to contact him since.

Police say the body, which is yet to be formally identified, was found in bushland at Black River on Monday afternoon.

They say there are no suspicious circumstances.
