Missing SA hikers found

Two hikers missing in near-freezing conditions in South Australia's Mount Lofty Ranges have been found safe and well.

Two lost hikers have been found safe and well after spending the night in near-freezing conditions in South Australia's Mount Lofty Ranges.

The men, believed to be aged 64 and 70, were spotted by the police helicopter on Wednesday morning.

They set out on a day-walk in the Marne Valley Conservation Park near Cambrai on Tuesday, after parking a car at both ends.

But they were reported missing late that night, when the temperature dropped to about 2C.

The hikers were found about one kilometre from one of the parked cars.
