Missing Sydney woman Jessica Bialek has returned home. A post by her husband on social media has confirmed Ms Bialek is safe.
"Jessica Bialek is safe and at home. Found. Thank you," Sabino Matera posted on Facebook about 6.30pm on Thursday.
Ms Bialek, 37, was reported missing after leaving her house on foot about 8.30am on Wednesday.
Her family raised the alarm on Wednesday afternoon when Ms Bialek, who has a young daughter, had not returned home and her phone was switched off.
Police had door-knocked homes across Coogee and Ms Bialek's friends also posted "Missing" posters and scoured the city's eastern suburbs.
Her father Michael Bialek on Thursday had held an emotional press conference where he said the family was desperate for news on her whereabouts.
"If there's a reason that she wants to be on her own, we just want to know she's safe," he said on Thursday.
Ms Bialek is a freelance photographer who has worked for the Australian Ballet, Opera Victoria and the Bangarra dance theatre.
A NSW Police spokesman said officers would speak with Ms Bialek to check on her welfare and discuss her absence.
"We are all very relieved that she is home, safe and well," the spokesman told AAP.
