Missing Tas man's bike found, body nearby

A body has been found near a motorcycle belonging to a Tasmanian man who has been missing since July.

A body has been found near the motorcycle of a Launceston man missing since July.

Michael Hamlyn's motorcycle was found on Saturday morning by a trail bike rider in the Fingal area.

A police search located a body nearby, but it has yet to be formally identified and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
