Missing woman fell from bridge: police

Missing Brisbane woman Rebecca Mackenzie died when she fell into the Brisbane River after a night out, according to police.

Police believe missing Brisbane woman Rebecca Mackenzie died when she fell into the Brisbane River on Sunday morning.

Ms McKenzie, 22, was last seen leaving a Fortitude Valley nightclub following an argument with a friend about 2am.

Detectives reviewing CCTV footage followed her movements to the Story Bridge.

They are treating her death as non-suspicious and preparing a report for the coroner.
