Sydney Roosters prop Sam Moa will miss his side's clash with St George Illawarra on Monday after failing to contest a contrary conduct charge at the NRL judiciary.
Moa was on Thursday night found guilty of making contact with referee Gavin Reynolds in Saturday's win over the Warriors in Auckland.
He failed to defend the charge stemming from an incident in the fourth minute in which he placed his hands on Reynolds' shoulders after having a try disallowed.
Moa was facing a one-game ban even with an early guilty plea and chose to contest the charge from the match review committee.
He will also incur 97 carry over points meaning he will miss one match the next time he is found guilty of a charge regardless of how minor.
