Mobile Embrace nearly doubles revenue

Mobile Embrace has predicted an earnings growth of nearly $4 million after announcing almost a doubling of revenue in less than a year.

Mobile commerce company, Mobile Embrace, expects a yearly revenue of more than $60 million on the back of burgeoning international mobile subscribers and billing clients.

Mobile Embrace on Tuesday said it had raised its revenue projections on the back of a record third quarter revenue of $16 million, nearly double that for the previous third quarter, and year to date income of $44 million.

Its 2015 full year revenue was $33 million.

The company supplies mobile services, marketing and advertisement across mobile devices and its direct carrier billing allows customers to charge purchases directly to their phone bill.

It has grown both its domestic and international markets in the 2016 financial year with subscriber numbers more than doubling and its carrier billing business picking up.

"It is worth noting that the third quarter is traditionally the quietest trading period which gives us further encouragement for the remainder of this financial year," Mobile Embrace chief executive Chris Thorpe said.

The company was seeing excellent growth, reduced costs of adding customers and enjoying increased retention of customers across both its direct carrier billing and its mobile marketing businesses, Mr Thorpe said.
