Modern Family's arrival in Sydney has created a buzz on social media and around the harbour city.
Australian fans have taken to Twitter and Instagram to welcome the hit TV comedy's cast, who have been arriving in the city over the past week.
The cast, who are filming a special holiday episode, also expressed their excitement about being Down Under on social media, posting photos of themselves at Sydney Airport and around the city.
Cast members were spotted in Manly, Circular Quay and Bondi Beach on Tuesday, and have been in Woolloomooloo for filming today.
Sofia Vergara, who plays the loud and curvaceous Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, posted an Instagram photo of herself with boyfriend Nick Loeb with a backdrop of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. The caption read: "We r here!!"
On Tuesday, Sarah Hyland, who plays Hayley Dunphy, shared a picture of herself looking fresh and happy between two mascots in a kangaroo and koala suit at Sydney Airport.
She spotted an oddity in the picture, writing on Twitter: "Missing koala leg ..."
After landing, Nolan Gould, who plays Hayley's younger brother Luke, tweeted: "I've arrived in Sydney! Luckily I didn't crash the plane. Thanks @qantasairways for the great flight!"
Gould later posted a photo of himself with a surfboard at Bondi Beach: "It took me all of three-and-a-half hours to make it to the beach after we landed in Sydney."
The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb and the Great Barrier Reef are also on the cast's itinerary, according to Gould.
Modern Family will be filming in Australia until February 28.
