Moore earns final US Ryder Cup spot

Ryan Moore, edged out for the Tour Championship title in a playoff, has been named as the fourth and final wildcard pick for US Ryder Cup team.

US captain Davis Love III has named Ryan Moore as his fourth and final wildcard pick for this week's Ryder Cup against holders Europe in Chaska, Minnesota.

Having already selected Rickie Fowler, JB Holmes and Matt Kuchar as his first three captain's picks, Moore's addition - announced after the PGA Tour's season-ending Tour Championship which Moore lost in a playoff to former world No.1 Rory McIlroy - rounds out the 12-man team.

Moore's selection for the event, which starts on Friday at Hazeltine National, means world No.7 and two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson was overlooked for the team.
