Eleven fresh charges have been laid against a Melbourne pizza shop worker accused of funding terror activities overseas.

Hasan El-Sabsabi of Seabrook appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday ahead of a scheduled committal hearing on Monday for seven charges of making funds available to a terrorist organisation.

His lawyer asked for the committal hearing to be shifted until August following 11 new charges that were laid against El-Sabsabi, aged in his 20s, who was arrested in terror raids last September.
