More human bones found in Brisbane park

More human bones have been found in Brisbane's Teneriffe Park and police believe they could be from colonial or pre-colonial times.

More human bones have been discovered in an inner-city Brisbane park.

Police found arm bones, a leg bone and an unidentified bone in Teneriffe Park on Wednesday, a day after council workers uncovered a human jaw and another bone.

A crime scene has been declared but police have said it doesn't appear to be suspicious.

Early investigations suggest the bones could be hundreds of years old, with scientific testing to be conducted to determine the age of the bones.

It appears the bones may be from a private burial either from colonial times or before European settlement.
