More measles cases linked to Vic airport

Victorian health authorities suspect nine measles cases are linked to an Australian man who flew from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne while infectious.

Victorian authorities have confirmed 10 cases of measles linked to two men who returned to Melbourne on international flights carrying the infection.

Two babies are among those infected and on Thursday the state health officer said two more adults have been diagnosed after spending time at the Tullamarine Airport international baggage collection area along with one of the men who travelled on flight D7214 on March 7.

The other passenger returned to Melbourne from Denpasar on March 10 and is believed to have passed the infection on to one of the babies.
