Four more people have been charged by a taskforce investigating live baiting in Queensland's greyhound racing industry.

A man, 69, is accused of intimidating another person who faced court over animal cruelty charges on Wednesday.

Police also charged a man and woman with a total of 11 counts of animal cruelty and a man, 52, with failing to secure a firearm.

It's alleged the 69-year-old man from Churchable threatened or intimidated a witness, who appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on several offences of animal cruelty.

The 69-year-old will now face the same court on Friday morning.

The three other people charged on Thursday are due to face Ipswich Magistrates Court on April 29.

So far, seven others have been charged as a result of the task force's investigation.

It follows an ABC Four Corners expose into the live-baiting training practice, which sparked outrage across the nation.

An independent review into the practice, headed by barrister Alan MacSporran QC, is expected to be completed in three months' time.

It is aiming to ascertain how widespread live baiting is in Queensland and how it went undetected for so long.
