More than 80 charities get status revoked

The national charity regulator has announced 86 charities will lose their status after failing to respond to multiple requests for reports.

More than 80 charities have had their status revoked after twice failing to submit statements to the national regulator.

The 86 entities which did not respond will now lose access to Commonwealth charity tax concessions.
