Two of Australia's most wanted men may be behind the wheel of a white 4WD that was stolen near Wagga Wagga in regional NSW.

As the hunt continues for father Gino and son Mark Stocco, the disappearance of a Toyota Landcruiser has prompted a public alert for the 4WD and its distinctive white bull bars.

The vehicle, with NSW registration plates BV70WP, was stolen overnight from a property at Little Billabong near Holbrook, about 45km from where they allegedly shot at police on Friday.
