The mother of Chris Noble, one of three people killed in last year's Rozelle shop explosion, was at court when her son's alleged murderer appeared.

The mother of a young man killed in a blast at a Sydney convenience store has vowed to attend every court appearance of the man accused of murdering her son and two of his neighbours.

Chris Noble died along with neighbour Bianka O'Brien and her one-year-old boy Jude as fire tore through their flats above Adeel Khan's Rozelle store which exploded last September.

Mr Noble's mother was at Central Local Court on Tuesday as additional property damage charges were laid against Khan, who appeared via video link.

Outside the court, Liz Noble said she would be at every court appearance.

"Because he was my son," she told reporters.

Khan, 44, is now accused of committing 29 offences including three counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and three counts of manslaughter.

He was initially scheduled to appear at court in October but was badly injured in the explosion and was kept in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Documents found inside Khan's Greenacre home show he was significantly behind on his bills at the time of the explosion and had last year increased the value of his store's insurance from $175,000 to $225,000, police said.
