A motorcyclist has been run over and killed after hitting a cow and coming off his bike in Queensland's Central Highlands.
Police say the 55-year-old man hit the cow at around 6pm on Saturday on Ardurad Road about 30km south of Blackwater.
A number of witnesses were rendering first aid to the man when he was struck by a four-wheel-drive vehicle coming along the road.
He died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
