Motorist in hospital after cliff plunge

A man has been taken to hospital after his car fell off a cliff in Sydney's east and landed on rocks around 30 metres below.

A man is being treated in hospital after his car plunged around 30 metres off a cliff in Sydney's east.

Police found the vehicle upside down on rocks near Burrows Park at Ocean Street in Clovelly on Monday morning.

The driver was already out of the car and was taken to hospital but his condition was not known.
