Australian rider Troy Brosnan has stormed home to take first place at the third round of the Mountain Bike World Cup in Fort William.

Brosnan claimed his first World Cup victory in a time of four minutes and 36 seconds.

Fellow Aussie Sam Hill took second spot after coming across the line half a second in front of former world champion Brit Danny Hart.

Last year's winner Gee Atherton finished in fifth place, just over three seconds behind the winner.
