Prop Tendai Mtawarira will become the second South African to attain 150 Super Rugby caps when his Sharks play their quarter-final against the Crusaders.
Coach Robert du Preez has named an unchanged starting team and bench for Saturday's match in Christchurch, keeping faith with the players who beat the Jaguares 20-10 in Durban to snatch the last wildcard spot.
Springboks veteran Mtawarira, 32, is a one-club player who made his Sharks debut in 2007.
Last month the loosehead known as "Beast" played his 100th Test during the series win over England.
Hooker Adriaan Strauss is the only South African with more Super Rugby appearances, having played 156 for the Cheetahs and Bulls.
The Sharks, who boast a 7-9 win-loss record this year are heavy underdogs against the defending champion Crusaders, who finished 12 points clear of their nearest rivals on the table.
