A girl flung to her death from a ride at the Royal Adelaide Show was the "little angel" of her mother's heart.
Malaysian national Adelene Leong, 8, was on holiday when she was thrown from the Airmaxx 360 ride on Friday.
"My lovely beautiful ... wonderful little angel of my heart," is how her mother described her daughter to police.
Police investigators are now appealing for showgoers who might have seen what happened to come forward.
They especially want to hear from anyone with photos or video footage of the ride in action or who experienced anything unusual on the ride.
"Even a small detail may be the crucial information which leads to a clear understanding of what took place," Chief Inspector Selena Dinning said.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner and have so far spoken to 30 to 40 people since Friday.
Some were favourable about the ride while others were "not so positive".
But it was far too early to say whether the ride operators would face charges, Chief Inspector Dinning said.
One witness has claimed it looked as though she slipped out of her seat.
Adelene - at 120cm high - met the minimum height requirement for the ride.
The ride has been seized by SafeWork SA and remains at the site at the showground.
It was a new addition for Royal Adelaide and has been included at shows in Sydney and Brisbane this year without incident.
Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society chief executive John Rothwell said all rides at the show were subject to daily checks and a national compliance audit.
Adelene's body has been released to her family, who have requested privacy.
