Australian officials are following up reports that a man with alleged bikie links has been arrested in Serbia over an execution-style murder in Brisbane.
Jei "Jack" Lee, 22, was shot at point blank range in the car park of a shopping centre at Eight Mile Plains in April 2012.
SBS reports that Australian man Bogdan Cuic was recently arrested in Serbia in connection with the crime.
It says the Serbian Ministry of the Interior has confirmed Cuic, who has alleged Bandidos bikie links, is being held in prison in the Serbian city of Novi Sad.
Cuic reportedly fled the country just hours after Mr Lee was murdered and was subject to an international arrest warrant.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade told AAP that the Australian Embassy in Belgrade was following up reports of the arrest.
