Murray heads British team in Davis Cup

Andy Murray and his brother Jamie will line up for Britain in next week's Davis Cup semi-final against Australia.

Andy Murray heads Britain's five-man team for next week's Davis Cup semi-final against Australia.

Murray is joined by Kyle Edmund, James Ward, brother Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot for the September 18-20 matches on an indoor hard court at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

The lineup was announced on Tuesday by captain Leon Smith.

Edmund is a new addition to the team that beat France 3-1 in the quarter-finals on grass at Queen's Club in July. Andy Murray secured all three points by winning his two singles matches and teaming with his brother for victory in the doubles.

Smith said Jamie Murray could team with his brother or Inglot in the doubles against Wally Masur's team.

Britain has reached the semi-finals for the first time since 1981. The winner will play either Belgium or Argentina in the final.
