Murray to play back-up to NSW No.9 Cook

If NSW hooker Damien Cook goes down during Wednesday's State of Origin I, lock Cameron Murray is expected to slot in at dummy-half.

Cameron Murray has played 15 minutes of reserve grade at dummy-half but says he has no fear if he's asked to deputise for hooker Damien Cook during State of Origin I.

The South Sydney lock forward is shaping as Brad Fittler's back-up plan should Rabbitohs teammate Cook go down at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.

Despite his limited experience in the position, Murray said he was confident of holding his own.
