Police are appealing for witnesses to the mysterious death of a Korean national on the Sunshine Coast.

The man's body was pulled from water near the Noosa Lions Park by police divers on Boxing Day.

It's believed he had spent Christmas Day around the area. Anyone who might have seen him around the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive between 11am and 3pm is urged to contact police.
