Australians from migrant and refugee backgrounds are being called upon to share accounts of their arrival and settlement with the National Archives of Australia.
Submitted stories have already begun building up an exhibition that's touring Australia, "A Ticket to Paradise?"
Official government campaigns and documents form a backdrop to the personal experiences of people arriving in Australia, reaching back to the immigration boom period after the Second World War.
Curator, Dr Sara King, told Kristina Kukolja, it's an evolving project to record Australia's unique migrant history.
