NAB hires former Westpac exec as director

National Australia Bank has appointed former Westpac executive Ann Sherry as a non executive director.

National Australia Bank has appointed former Westpac New Zealand chief executive Ann Sherry as a non-executive director.

Ms Sherry spent 12 years in a variety of senior roles with NAB's rival before joining cruise ship operator Carnival Australia in 2007.

"She brings extensive banking and business skills together with a deep understanding of how to drive the right culture, community engagement and customer focus," NAB chairman Ken Henry said.
