Naomi Campbell has become the latest victim of iPhone's autocorrect fails. The supermodel posted an embarrassing tweet on October 11 congratulating 'malaria' for winning the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

"Congratulations malaria on your #noblepeaceprize#2014 #Respect #joy #ithalljuststarted ❤️" she posted on Instagram and Twitter.

After nearly 700 retweets, Campbell deleted the post and replaced it with a corrected version.

"Darlings my iPhone and I are at odds it seems I type a word it seems to spit out another , forgive me CONGRATULATIONS @malalafund on your #2014 NOBLEPEACEPRIZE #YOUNGESTEVER # RESPECT # #inspire #admire"

Malala Yousafzai is the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, after winning the award this year. The 17-year-old Pakistani fought for years for the right of girls to education in her strictly Muslim home region, and leapt to global fame after the Taliban tried to gun her down in October 2012.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee gave the award to Malala and Indian activist Kailash Satyarthi for their struggle against the repression of children and young people and "for the right of all children to education".
