Raging Brownlow Medal favourite Nat Fyfe has been reported at Etihad Stadium during Fremantle's clash with North Melbourne.

Fyfe clattered into tagger Ben Jacobs as both players went for a loose ball in the third quarter, with the Dockers playmaker reported by umpire Brett Rosebury after he made high front-on contact with his opponent.

A brief scuffle erupted after the clash with Fyfe's guernsey ripped in the process.

Fyfe is the hot favourite to take out this year's Brownlow Medal but having already been fined twice this season will be ruled ineligible if found guilty of the charge, with a third fine leading to a suspension.
