NBA refs to interact with fans on Twitter

NBA fans who have been yelling at their TV during the first two games of the finals can now interact with referees on Twitter.

Anonymous NBA referees will interact with fans via Twitter during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday to provide a real-time look at the point of view of the officials during the contest.

The interactions will take place via the National Basketball Referees' Association account and will feature the hashtag #RefWatchParty. Responding referees will not be publicly revealed.

During the playoffs, the NBA Referees account has chimed in with acknowledgments of missed fouls and explanations of other calls.

NBA officiating has notably come under fire this season, from both the players and fans alike.

The Golden State Warriors lead the Cleveland Cavaliers 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.
