NBA superstar Kobe Bryant has participated in another full practice session with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bryant still was not sure when he would be back in uniform, but his second workout with his teammates on Tuesday left him optimistic about his return.
The fourth-leading scorer in NBA history has not played since tearing his achilles tendon in a game against the Golden State Warriors in April. He did several weeks of conditioning work before returning to practice last Saturday for a brief workout.
He did drills and five-on-five play with the Lakers on Tuesday.
Bryant said he was "pleasantly surprised" by how good he felt afterward.
He says he could adjust his game and contribute something to the Lakers now, but wants to make sure he's ready to play for the long haul when he returns.
