A call is being made for computer literacy skills training to be linked to the National Broadband Network.
Two reports commissioned by the Innovation and Business Skills Australia claims groups living in regional and rural areas will be disadvantaged unless they receive training on how to use digital technology associated with the high-speed network.
The research was conducted by Marcus Bowles from the University of Tasmania's Digital Economy and Regional Futures project.
