Neil Young working on second memoir

Singer/songwriter Neil Young will release a second memoir later this year following the success of his first effort Waging Heavy Peace.

US singer Neil Young is not done with writing memoirs.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has a deal with Blue Rider Press for a book focusing on his passion for cars, while also featuring stories about his life in music.

Blue Rider, an imprint of Penguin Random House, said on Monday that the new book is scheduled for later this year and is currently untitled.

Young's first memoir, Waging Heavy Peace, was a best-seller published by Blue Rider in 2012.

New Rider says the second memoir is an "eclectic amalgam" that also will include artwork by Young and his thoughts on politics and the environment.

The 68-year-old musician is known for such songs as Heart of Gold, Like a Hurricane and Southern Man.
