Nepal's children returen to school

Schoolchildren in Nepal have returned to classes for the first time since two massive earthquakes devastated the country.

Thousands of schools were damaged in the 7.8 magnitude quake that hit the country on April 25, killing more than 8,600 people.

More died and more damage was done in a 7.3 magnitude quake on May 12.

Now, more than a month and many aftershocks later, it's an anxious return - particularly for parents, many of whom are afraid to let their children out of their sight.

But many believe restoring education is the best way to move forward.

Abbie O'Brien has the story.
