Nets end Warriors' NBA road win streak

The Brooklyn Nets have stopped the Golden State Warriors becoming the first team in NBA history to complete a perfect 7-0 road trip.

The Brooklyn Nets snapped the Golden State Warriors' 10-game winning streak 102-98 on Wednesday, stopping them becoming the first team in NBA history to complete a perfect 7-0 road trip.

Joe Johnson scored eight of his 27 points down the stretch for the Nets (14-21), with the team erasing an early 16-point deficit en route to their season-high fourth straight win.

The Nets' Andray Blatche had 17 points, Kevin Garnett had 11 of his 13 in the final frame and Shaun Livingston added 12.

Stephen Curry dropped in 34 points and David Lee added 20 for the Warriors (23-14), who fell short of a franchise-record 11th consecutive victory.

The road Warriors were knocking on history's door ahead, 93-89 with 4:07 remaining, but went cold allowing the Nets to go on a 9-0 run.

Elsewhere, Kyle Korver fired in 17 points, Macedonia's Pero Antic added 16, and the Atlanta Hawks ended a three-game slide, 97-87, over the league-best Indiana Pacers.

Paul George had 28 points and 12 points rebounds for the weary Pacers (28-7), playing for the fourth time in five nights.

Frenchman Tony Parker scored 25 points, Tim Duncan added 16 with 13 rebounds, leading the Western Conference-best San Antonio Spurs (28-8) to their seventh straight win over the visiting Dallas Mavericks 112-90.

James Harden matched a season high with 38 points, Dwight Howard added 20 with 13 rebounds against his former club, and the Houston Rockets sent the visiting LA Lakers to their ninth loss in the last 11 games, 112-90.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 36 points, while Frenchman Nicolas Batum had 14 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 14 assists for his fourth career triple-double, and the Portland Trail Blazers used a 39-19 fourth quarter to hand the visiting Orlando Magic their fifth straight loss 110-94.

In other games, the visiting Washington Wizards beat the New Orleans Pelicans 102-96; the Toronto Raptors dropped the visiting Detroit Pistons 112-91; the visiting Phoenix Suns shaded the Minnesota Timberwolves 104-103; and the LA Clippers bounced the visiting Boston Celtics 111-105.
