New face at ScreenWest in investment role

ScreenWest has appointed post-production film maker Annabelle Sheehan as its new director of production investment.

She has worked on films like The Piano, Dead Calm and The Portrait of a Lady, and now Annabelle Sheehan will take on a senior executive role with ScreenWest.

Ms Sheehan, who has worked on 17 films in sound and editing, has been appointed director of production investment.

ScreenWest chief executive Ian Booth said Ms Sheehan had more than 25 years experience in the industry and brought with her many national and international contacts.

"Having someone of Annabelle's calibre wanting to join ScreenWest is fantastic for the Western Australian screen industry," he said.

"Under her guidance, we look forward to ScreenWest's production investment and business development programs continuing to strategically support the WA industry."

Ms Sheehan was recently the chief executive and senior agent at RGM Artist Group for 10 years and was previously the head of the film and television division at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School for six years.
