Lara Croft is set to take off on her next adventure starting January 28 with Rise of the Tomb Raider, from publisher Square Enix.
Downloads of the PC version of the game will become available that day on the Steam platform, the Windows Store and the Square Enix store, with an XBox version becoming available one day later.
On top of the features that have become standard with XBox games, this will also come with 4K image resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels).
The game will sell for about 50 euros ($A79.90), while a collector's edition with a 30-centimetre tall statue, books and a season pass will be available for about 130 euros.
