New Royal Adelaide Hospital to be tested

Months of testing at the Royal Adelaide Hospital will begin on Thursday, with the $2 billion facility finally completed after months of delays.

The long-delayed new Royal Adelaide Hospital has finally been completed, with testing now to take place before it accepts patients.

Health Minister Jack Snelling says the "magnificent" $2 billion hospital reached technical completion on Wednesday.

The milestone, arriving months later than planned, has triggered a testing and training period at the facility that will last for at least 90 days.
