New Suncorp boss to start Oct 1

Michael Cameron will start in his new job as Suncorp's chief executive on October 1, the financial services group says.

Suncorp's incoming chief executive Michael Cameron will start his new job on October 1.

Mr Cameron, who is the current director of property group GPT, was appointed to Suncorp's top job in April after Patrick Snowball announced his plan to return to the UK.

Chairman Ziggy Switkowski said Mr Cameron's start date is ideal, as it directly follows Mr Snowball's final annual general meeting for Suncorp shareholders.
