Queensland researchers have developed a world first therapy for rheumatoid arthritis, an illness that's estimated to affect more than 450,000 Australians.
They says it's a safe and effective way to reduce inflammation in patients with the most common form of RA.
Rheumatologist and researcher Helen Benham is from the University of Queensland's Diamantina Institute.
She explained to Van Nguyen how the autoimmune disease affects people.
