Director Joe Wright has found his Peter Pan - newcomer Levi Miller has been cast to take on the lead role of the boy who never grew up in the new film Pan.
The director launched an open casting call in the UK earlier this year to find a new face to play the character. Miller beat out hundreds of boys for the role of the orphan who became Pan.
He will star alongside Australian actor Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara in the 2015 movie, which will centre upon the beginnings of J M Barrie's classic children's story.
Set during WWII the film will stell the story of an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he's destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard, played by Jackman.
Garrett Hedlund has been cast as Hook.
Pan is scheduled to hit cinemas in July, 2015
