Australian golfer Nikki Campbell has finished second to runaway winner I.K Kim at the Ladies European Masters in England.

Campbell shot a closing 67 to finish at 13-under-par at Buckinghamshire Golf Club but never looked like catching the South Korean world No.24 who won by five strokes with a final round 68.

It was Kim's fifth victory as a professional and her first since the 2010 Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

Campbell, who played with Kim for the first three rounds, collected $A76,100.

"I played really well but couldn't catch IK. I'm happy with second," she said.

Northern Ireland's Stephanie Meadow charged through the field to finish joint third on 11-under alongside Lee-Anne Pace and Caroline Masson with a 63, which equalled the course record set by Kim on Saturday.

Australia's Sarah Kemp tied for sixth at 10-under after a 71, having led after 36 holes.

Western Australia's brilliant teenage amateur Minjee Lee went into the final round in second place but had to settle for 11th place at nine under after a 73.

Queensland's Sarah Jane Smith (71) was a further shot back and tied for 14th.

Karrie Webb signed for a 70 and finished tied 20th at five-under while Stephanie Na (73) and amateur Su-Hyun Oh (75) finished tied for 24th.
