The Nine Network will re-screen the telemovie Schapelle on Monday night following a news special on the Schapelle Corby's release from an Indonesian jail.
Corby was freed on parole on Monday after her 2005 conviction for trying to smuggle more than 4kg of marijuana into Bali.
The arrest, trial and conviction were the centrepiece of the telemovie Schapelle, which aired on Sunday night and attracted more than a million viewers. The drama had initially been scheduled to air on Monday, but Nine pulled it forward by a day.
Nine will screen Schapelle: Finally Free, a Nine News Special, at 8.40pm on Monday and follow it at 9.40pm with a repeat of the telemovie Schapelle.
Corby's release has sparked a bidding war among the major news outlets that the Seven Network seems to have won.
Veteran Aussie journalist Mike Willesee appears to have scored the interview for Seven's current affairs show Sunday Night.
Willesee has been spotted in Bali following Corby's every movement since her release on Monday morning.
Corby is dressed very much like the children of late popstar Michael Jackson, who used to cover his offspring head-to-toe in clothing to make it difficult for them to be photographed.
Seven has yet to confirm reports Sunday Night has paid for well over a million dollars for the Corby story.
