Nishikori books spot in Buenos Aires final

Japanese star Kei Nishikori has booked a spot in the final of the Argentina Open with a win over local Carlos Berlocq.

Top-seeded Kei Nishikori has beaten local wildcard Carlos Berlocq in three sets to reach the Argentina Open final in Buenos Aires.

Nishikori won 4-6 6-2 6-3 and will face Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine in the final on Sunday (Monday AEDT) after he defeated fourth-seeded Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain 7-5 6-2.

Japanese star Nishikori has won 11 ATP titles and has a 5-0 record against Dolgopolov, without dropping a set.

Dolgopolov seeks his third title, and first in five years.
