No AFL bans for finals-bound players

No players have been hit with suspensions by the AFL match review panel from round 23.

None of the eight AFL finalists will be sweating on suspension to players after the match review panel ran the rule over round 23.

Important Hawthorn midfielder Jordan Lewis can accept a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea for tripping Carlton's Andrew Carrazzo.

Port Adelaide forward Jay Schulz's strike to the head of Fremantle's Lachie Neale was deemed worthy of a $1000 fine rather a suspension.

Carlton's Kade Simpson can also accept a $1000 fine for making forceful front-on contact to Hawthorn ruck-forward David Hale.
