No Cricket Victoria contract for White

Cameron White's career with Cricket Victoria is over after he was not offered a new playing contract for the 2019-20 season.

Cricket Victoria have confirmed decorated veteran Cameron White will not be offered a contract for next season.

White, Victoria's longest serving and most successful captain, had been keen to extend his career into a 20th season, but the 35-year-old's hopes were dashed in a statement released on Thursday.

"The list management decision-making process has not been an easy one ... we've had to make a very hard decision on Cameron's playing tenure with Victoria," Cricket Victoria general manager of cricket Shaun Graf said.
