Visa requirements for Indonesian tourists travelling to Australia are not about to be changed.

The Indonesian government has announced it will cut visa fees for tourists from Australia and 46 other countries from October.

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has ruled out reciprocating the measure, telling ABC radio on Thursday it was Australia's policy not to provide exemptions to tourists from any country.
